About Me



Here's a little about me. :)  I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 beautiful children.  I am currently taking a medical transcription program online, and I hope to find a job working from home when I am done.  Our family lives on a small farm where we're fortunate enough to be able to raise our own meat and vegetables.  I have always loved to cook, especially from scratch.

In June 2013, I was introduced to the concept of clean eating.  This term I have found can have different meanings to different people. We are not 100% clean in this house, nor will we probably ever be.  I love cheese way too much.  I use it in moderation for almost every meal I make.  We have cut white flour out completely, as well as about 95% of white sugar.  I do not buy any seasoning packets (taco, fajita, etc.) anymore.  I make them myself with organic spices found in my cupboard.

I started this blog because I have had so many people ask me to share my favorite recipes since starting clean eating.  I have never blogged before, so this is definitely going to be a work in progress.  I also have a very bad habit of not measuring when I cook, so I am going to do my very best to make my recipes that I create as accurate as possible.  I am positive anyone can succeed at clean eating.  It does take a little adjustment, but it really isn't as much as I thought it would be.  The benefits of clean eating are endless and so worth the effort.  I myself immediately started losing weight after struggling for MONTHS on a subscription weight loss program.  I have sooooooo much more energy, my skin and hair look great, and I just feel better overall!  So are you ready to take the plunge?  If so, read on!  You won't regret it.
